Story Behind the art:
My name is Philip Dankwa; I was born in 1981. I am respectful, kind and hardworking. My specialization is in wood art. My love for art grew stronger at the secondary school level. I had the strong edge to do art, and so I studied art. Also whenever I visited museums, the love for art grew stronger. After my secondary school education, a close friend of mine who was into carving taught me to carve and finish. With respect, love and kindness, I learned the craft successfully.
I model crafts such as masks and home decor accessories with wood. When designing, I look out for quality and unique finishing. I look up to people who have made it big in the art industry as my models. I market my finished products at an art market in Asamankese. My hope is to satisfy my online customers. The handmade touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.
